I ordered the smoke assist product Nov. 19th. I received the product in the correct time, but put them in a drawer and basically forgot I ordered them. So when I received the two pkgs. of replacement filters yesterday with a packing slip and a total in the amount of $79.90. ( Under the dollar amount is says "This is NOT a bill"). Just to make sure I called the service dept. and spoke to a gentleman named "Tom" (rep. # 6321) I explained to Tom that I had not even tried the product yet, so I did not want any additional filters sent. He then canceled any further deliveries. This is when it gets interesting. I say, Tom, is this a bill? No, he says, I then ask, "so the filters I just got are part of the original order?" " Yes it is",says Tom. ( Why did I get them now I wonder) we then spend 5 min. going over how many filters I have. Just as he is about to hang up I ask, "will this charge be on my credit card?" "Yes it will", he says, In that case I respond, " I think I will return these two filter packages, as I don't even know if this works". "You can't do that, he says, you only have 30 days from the time you ordered". Excuse me Tom, but on this statement I just received it says "Our products have a 60 day Trial Period. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and you are within the guaranteed time frame, you must call our cust. serv. dept. to receive a return authorization and instructions to return the product." "So I can return them, in fact I want to return all of it now". "well you can't" says Tom, "Can so", says I, "can not" says Tom, "are you reading what your statement says!" I ask? "It is what it is" Tom replies, "You can't change the return policy like that", I say. "it is what it is" he says again. "You know this sounds like a scam Tom, what is your supervisors name?" "Traci" last name? "can't tell you" Your last name? "can't tell you" can I speak with your supervisor? "no"........ I think you get the general idea. I don't know how I am going to proceed with this, but to any of you out there keep in mind how this company does business..and good luck with the smoking. PLEASE NOTE - I'M NOT REVIEWING THE PRODUCT, I AM REVIEWING THE COMPANY. if i could give them less than one star I would.
