I joined Gold's, OX in March 2011 didn't go to much due to my knee issues and now trying to get back and realized that they keep the Spin room, Group Exercise room and I'm sure the Yoga room locked. As paying members you would think one would have full access to the gym equipment throughout the whole gym. And when I signed up the twerp (which may be the owners son) lied to me and said it was a 2 year contract but it turned out it was a 3 year contract. If I would have known that rooms were locked and he was signing me up for 3 years I would have walked out. I would NEVER sign up for 3 years as well as not having full access to any gym. For the spin room the excuse was more of a liability excuse. I'm sure its in our contract that they are not held responsible for any injuries. Just another way for them to keep more of the annual $29 enhancement fee so they have less repairs to make and pay for. DO NOT JOIN GOLDS IN OXNARD or anywhere for that matter!!! Not to mention that the MALE maintence man walks right into the womens locker room with no hesitation and it wasnt the first time. So did they really talk to him about that or not??? Looking to get out but I'm sure they wont so trying to sell it. If they would let the people out who are truely displeased maybe they would have a better BBB review. I tried to remove the 1 star as they dont even deserve that!
