Jayar has made every attempt to resolve the issues with this customer. Even though the present owner of the company had not obligation to cover the warrantee for this job we were willing to install a replacement top after we received authorization from Cosentino the manufacture of the Quartz material in order to help this customer. Customer first wanted us to install full splashes above the concrete countertops installed by another company instead of replacing the island top. Jayar was willing to do this until the customer’s requirements for the splashes became unrealistic. We then offered go back to the original plan to replace the island top that has a fissure. The customer again put up unrealistic demands. Even after the material manufacture offered to cover plumbing cost the customer has not wanted to be realistic and repeatedly threatened legal action. We have tried to get this customer to understand that the company that installed this top has gone out of business and there are limits to what we can do for her. Only after she threatened legal action for the at least the fourth time and indicated she was going to pursue legal action regardless did we discontinue trying to come to a resolution She has continued to be unrealistic and has pursued a small claims action against us even though the present owner has no obligation with regard to this job.
