Used this company for a military move to Germany. Items arrived damaged and broken. Worst customer service ever! Sam Baker won't return phone calls or emails. We were FINALLY assured 3 weeks ago that the final check would be cut and mailed "tomorrow". After getting frustrated with the waiting we attempted to call with no response (as usual)and finally did get an email from Sam where we found out the check had neither been cut nor mailed. Seems that rather than giving us full replacement for my antique dining table used by generations of my family, Moonridge now wants to pay us only $500 for a $1,200.00 table. In the course of the most recent email from Sam regarding the claim (which we were absolutely furious about)he informed the wife of the member filing the claim that he "did not need your attitude".
Although their customer service is without a doubt the worst we have seen, what Moonridge is VERY good at is stalling and dragging things out until the person filing the claim takes whatever they are being offered just to get it over and done with.
If the military is paying attention, this company should never be used again. For the complaints you see here there are many many more who just want to put the whole claims episode behind them and never have to think about it again. Frankly, we wouldn't trust Moonridge to move our trash can from the garage to the street let alone move our cherished belongings around the country or the world. The military is being fleeced by this company. We would give them less than one star, but there doesn't seem to be a star rating in the negative column.
